The local workspace
The local edition includes its editor tools for evaluation. Proposed saved-estimate allowances are not enforced paid entitlements in a browser-only package. A secure backend is needed for online account access and subscription activation.
Annual billing
Annual plans discount twelve monthly prices by 20% and are billed in one payment. The annual total appears on checkout; any monthly equivalent is shown for comparison.
Taxes, cancellation and support

What does the Project Estimate Generator do?
It organises project scope into phases, calculates labour and direct expenses, and applies the markup, contingency, discount and tax you enter. You can preview, save and export a client-ready estimate.
Are the suggested rates market prices?
No. Templates use fictional example rates to demonstrate the tool. Replace them with your own approved pricing, costs and assumptions.
How are markup and contingency calculated?
Markup is applied to labour plus direct expenses. Contingency is applied to that adjusted subtotal. The percentage discount then reduces the subtotal, and the tax rate you enter is applied to the result.
Can I print or save a PDF?
Yes. Use Print / PDF in the editor, then choose a printer or Save as PDF in your browser print dialog. Disable browser headers and footers for a clean document.
Is the estimate automatically accepted by the client?
No. Statuses such as Shared or Approved are manual records. The tool does not send, verify, electronically sign or legally accept an estimate on anyone’s behalf.
Where are my estimates saved?
In this browser profile on this device. There is no authenticated cloud account or cross-device sync in this edition. Export backups before clearing browser data.
Can I purchase a subscription?
Plans lead to a checkout review, but live billing and paid account activation are not connected in this package. No card details or payments are collected here.
Does Calstro check tax or project duration?
No. You choose the correct tax treatment. Phase durations are planning assumptions; the summed figure is a sequential estimate and does not account for parallel work, holidays or actual resource availability.
